I will admit I can sometimes be a girly girl.

Well, maybe not the typical get dolled up to go out all the time, do my hair and makeup kind of girly-girl, but if you take anything and throw pink or purple on it, it all of a sudden becomes a solid want in my book.

Sadly, with the lifting market often being male-dominated, there aren’t always girly options when it comes to lifting “accessories.” But then I discovered BeastEtte Apparel and I was immediately drawn to her super cute designs on lifting, or Crossfit wrist wraps!

Crossfit Wrist Wraps

While I still consider myself new to Crossfit, I often take cues from others at my box for tips on what to do or not to do. I had seen a lot of the people at my box put on their wrist wraps when we are doing a lot of overhead lifting or snatches, so I wanted to give these a try myself to see if they were beneficial.

I am not sure if I mentioned it before, but my extensive athletic background involves twirling a flag for the marching band in high school. Between four years of constant wrist-action and twelve years of desk jobs perched in front of a keyboard all day, my child size wrists are not always happy with some of the decisions I make. Val, the mastermind behind the brand, developed these out of her own personal discomfort with the desk-job wrists, combined with her love of making fun designs (she has an awesome shirt line as well– this one is on my birthday list!).

So when given an opportunity to try out these female-friendly lift wraps, I was sure I would love them.

I was very excited to give these a try during my first Crossfit competition, and they were delivered right on time!

I had a very positive experience with these and have continued to use them in my Oly Lifting classes, especially when there are snatches or clean and jerks involved!

I did want to provide a few tips on how to use them.. so check out my video below!

Val has also offered a set of wrist wraps just like mine to one lucky reader! Enter below!

I’m not a crossfitter but I just need to say the wraps look awesome! Way cool! (And man, does the fitness community have some fabulously creative women or what?)

Love seeing you on the video, too!

Yes, love the creative women! 🙂

These are great to have for anything where you’d need some wrist stability! Val even said on her site she originally was using them for her wrists when typing all day!

I have had my eye on Beastette for awhile now, when lifting I have used gloves that have wrist wraps attached since stabilizing my wrists has been a concern of mine. I have a tendency of not keeping my wrists aligned properly when lifting without stability. The wraps are super cute and any time I can add a little more pink into my training it’s a plus! Would love to win!!!

Posted to my FB page 🙂 LOVE this gear! I too have delicate wrists (have chiro fix them all the time) and I’d love a pair for yoga since it can sometimes be hard on the wrists during balance poses 🙂 SOO Versatile!

I have never worn wrist wraps before, but I can see the benefit of them. Sometimes my poor wrists are screaming at me post crossfit session.

I’d love to win the wrist wraps! I’ve been avoiding getting a pair at the local sporting goods store because all of the wrist wraps that they offer are so basic and boring looking. I think I’d benefit from using wrist wraps, though, especially with overhead squats, snatches, and kettlebell swings. My favorite are the ones with the skulls! And with my wrists looking so cute, I’d definitely PR, right? 🙂

Absolutely! Cuter the gear, the bigger the PRs! 😉

Those are awesome and would be great for my job since I am constantly on the computer and have wrist issues. I have to look into them.

This product review was good….A wrap or splint that immobilizes the wrist may be recommended for daytime and/or nighttime use to help relieve uncomfortable symptoms such as numbness or tingling. Wrist wraps are available in a variety of materials that provide a range of support from total immobilization to relative flexibility. Some people also choose to wear these types of wraps as a preventive measure to limit motions that may contribute to future injuries, just Like the Gripped Wrist wraps.
