In the blogosphere and Twitterverse, I feel if someone starts to talk about Crossfit I am immediately sold. I almost never question following back ladies with similar goals to mine, and even more so when I feel I can relate to her.
This week’s spotlight found me through Google (yay! I must be doing something right!), and I was immediately drawn to her positive attitude, colorful blog, and of course love of Crossfit! What makes her even more relateable to me is that she is a skinny-gone-strong girl like me, who actually has gained weight in the pursuit of becoming healthier and is using it to her advantage to rock her workouts!

I absolutely love pushing my limits on my deadlift!

Piece of advice for new lifters or those reluctant to try:
It’s all about the form…practice, practice, practice and focus on your form prior to increasing weight. Be patient, the weight will come with time, the form is your foundation!

Ah, the elusive bar muscle up! I can apparently only do them on Wednesdays or Fridays when the moon is a waxing crescent… lol jk. sortof.
