Remember when I was sent some samples of AMRAP Bars to try out?
I am not usually a proponent of using bars as a substitute for real food, but have found that these bars make an excellent replacement if a whole-food option isn’t available or if you just need an extra pick-me-up during the day.
The AMRAP Bar is a:
100% Paleo, NonGMO, gluten-free, dairy-free, preservative and artificial anything-free, high fat to carb ratio, high protein bar designed by experts, athletes, enthusiasts, discerning moms and health nuts.
In an effort to help spread the word about their newly launched flavors, AMRAP Nutrition is letting me give three lucky readers a chance to win your own 12-pack of bars in a flavor of your choice!
Not sure what option to choose? Here is some background on each:
The Almond Honey Bar contains sea salt, cinnamon, and raw honey that work together to provide essential micro minerals to rebalance electrolytes, limit rises in blood sugar, and maintain glycogen levels that improve athletic recovery time.
The Cashew Vanilla Bar has egg whites that are packed with protein to increase muscle mass while cashews and coconut work together to help to maximize energy, aid in muscle synthesis, and provide you with macronutrients.
The Fig and Cacao Bar promotes cardiovascular health and has high fiber content, and is rich in phyto-nutrients, antioxidants, and vitamins. Dates and cocao also work together to remove free radicals and reduce inflammation.
AMRAP Nutrition is an athlete-focused community, priding itself in providing a high quality product with maximum nutrition without any unnecessary fillers or over-processed ingredients. Their nutrient-dense products are derived from the most raw and natural ingredients, fueling your body with high-quality protein and monosaturated fats which help prime the body to readily convert food into fuel.

I deserve to win!!!
These look great if you were in a pinch! A lot of bars here are very sugar high (albeit natural sugar) so a higher fat and protein content would be fab. Maybe one day they will be available in the UK!! 🙂
