I feel like I am on a winning streak with your blog! I am still enjoying my AMPRAP Nutrition bars 🙂 nomnomnom

I kind of want that arm sleeve to wear during ring dips! Every time I do a high-rep ring dip workout I end up losing half of my skin on my upper arm. I guess i’d be better off with a different product like a compression sleeve from Skins or something.

I’m glad this list has lots of emphasis on baths! I think people often overlook the power of a hot bath for recovering muscles. Especially men. lol

Going to bed early and sleeping in the next morning!

Christine December 9, 2014 at 4:48 pm

Honestly, the best thing I do is walking to recover. I recuperate much more quickly that way. Another thing is lemon water after a workout – less soreness after.

Andrew Sten December 9, 2014 at 5:18 pm

I’ve been thinking about getting compression socks or calf sleeves for awhile, especially for OCR races. Which to you think are better?

~jenniferlynn December 9, 2014 at 5:36 pm

I have both.. Sleeves are nice if you like to brr barefoot at home or prefer specific socks when you wod.

danielle December 9, 2014 at 5:25 pm

oh my gaw. I want the fleece sheets. Except then my husband and I would be sleeping in separate beds. #maybeworthit

also, just totally added the bathtub caddy to my wishlist! brilliant for epsom soaks–now I can watch tv AND hold my beer!

Anna D December 9, 2014 at 5:49 pm

My favorite way to recover is a good Epsom salt bath and getting out and going on a hike or run….if I’m not TOO sore! OH! and sleep, of course!

Alex December 9, 2014 at 5:49 pm

I’m loving these holiday gift guides!!

Recovery is my new favorite thing. I never really understood how important it truly was.I love foam rolling and using my stick and/or a lacrosse ball. Nothing like working out those sore spots!

Foam rolling and my lacrosse ball…best purchases and thank you to CrossFit for turning me onto them.

Thinking of getting some compression socks for the 2015 races.

Alysia December 9, 2014 at 7:04 pm

My favorite way to recover is by sleeping! Sleeping is the best thing ever (next to Crossfit, of course)

Jen December 9, 2014 at 7:36 pm

Epsom salt bath, glass of red wine, lavender oil in my diffuser, and sleep!

Sandy December 9, 2014 at 8:02 pm

LOVE my fleece sheets. ALSO love my bamboo sheets for summer – yeah, bamboo! they’re amazing. Sort of like what satin sheets always wanted to be – super silky – but not “slippy.” Yummy. BTW the CrossFIXE folks make a bath soak, I am SO buying some! (And sending my hubby the link to that bath/wine/book tray!

With my new workout program, the compression gear would come in handy. Epsom salt was a lifesaver after my marathon! Everything mentioned above, I want. Enabler!

Shelly December 9, 2014 at 9:32 pm

If I had a bath like that, I would be in there all the time. Sounds so relaxing and peaceful!

I’d love some fleece sheets, too. Unfortunately, my hubby is hot blooded (like most men) and I’m pretty sure he’d roast to death. Me, there’s no such thing as too many blankets.

Heather Danielson December 9, 2014 at 10:43 pm

Chris December 9, 2014 at 11:24 pm

Love BioSkin! Such a great company to work with. They sent me a Christmas card today even! =) I need to take more salt baths. I have a monthly one, that’s it. I don’t usually go for wine though, I like to sip whiskey. Mmmmm.

Megan December 10, 2014 at 12:49 am
